They utilize modern non-corrosive and non-mercuric initiator mixes for the cleanest burn possible. CCI Small Pistol Magnum Primers #550 Box of 1000 (10 Trays of 100) Some real-world shooting conditions require more aggressive initiation than provided by standard primers. Large cases, cold weather, and certain propellants often require a hotter primer flame and a longer burn. Excellent product in my experience. I have never had a failure with CCI primers at least as far back as I can remember and I buy only CCI for my reloading needs, even if the cost is slightly higher, which it seldom is. You cannot go wrong with these primers in my opinion.

Product arrived super quick from Midway. I ordered primers from brownells as well on the same day and brown hasn’t even shipped my order. I’m very satisfied with the shipping times Midway provided. I have loaded about 300 CCI primers since I started reloading in December 2020 and have never had issues with them. Very satisfied with cci and will continue to buy their primers as long as I can find them in stock.

I’ve been using these to load 357 magnum, so far I haven’t ran into any issues with them!
